In this two-day workshop, you will learn how to prepare and mordant papers, select and arrange botanical materials, and create bundles for the eco-dyeing process. The bundles are then cooked for 4 hours and left to dry overnight.
On day two, you’ll unwrap your papers to reveal the results, iron them, and then select your strongest print to professionally present in a 20 × 20 cm floating frame, ready to take home and hang. Your remaining eco-dyed papers are yours to keep and use in future creative projects.
All paper, materials, foliage, and professionally-made frames are supplied. No previous art experience is necessary.
